A function was recently held in Roscrea to mark the retirement of Donal Quigley from the staff of our Roscrea Branch. Donal had served for more than 22 years and looked after the agri needs of many customers over those years. Tributes were paid to him on his retirement by Michael Ryan, Branch Manager and Joe Kerrigan, Chief Executive. Presentations were made by Kathleen Crowe on behalf of the Centenary Thurles Social Club and by Paddy Daly, Chairman on behalf of the Committee of Management.
Friday 23rd May saw the retirement of Liam Moore after more than 44 years employed by Thurles Co-op initially and latterly by Centenary Thurles. Liam spent the last 20 years in our Littleton Branch with the final 13 of those as Branch Manager. He had a great rapport with customers combined with excellent product knowledge. A Retirement Function for Liam and the other Branch Managers will be held later in the Summer.
Both Donal and Liam are wished well in their retirements and hopefully will enjoy many years of health and happiness.
