Co-op & Community

Our Co-operative

We continue to innovate, progress and grow, with a firm belief that our future achievements and successes will spring from the combined knowledge, skills and expertise of our people.

Our Community

We recognise the pivotal role played by local organisations throughout our area who help sustain communities and our way of life.

Our support, whether through one-off donations for fundraising events, or direct ongoing financial sponsorship, ultimately leads to strengthened communities and a stronger Co-op.

Invested in the Next Generation

The Tipperary GAA Academy fosters the next generation of local hurling and football talent. We are proud to support the Academy by supplying local and nourishing Thurles Fresh Milk to the underage teams.

Tipperary Cup Sponsorship

Since 2007, we’ve proudly supported the Tipperary Cup, an iconic racing competition held annually at Thurles Greyhound Stadium for nearly 70 years.

Proudly Supporting Cabragh Wetlands Trust

Boasting 200 acres of wetland habitat, and home to a stunning variety of Irish flora and fauna, the Cabragh Wetlands are a hidden environmental treasure on our doorstep. The Trust’s vision of conservation, education and recreation is delivered by a committed team of volunteers, and we are delighted to support them in their efforts through investment in their education programme.

Supporting Local Heroes

Through our support of the Centenary Agri Mid Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship, we aim to promote the sport and contribute to the vitality of our sporting community.

The championship, established in 1907, is played in a knock-out format once Tipperary exit the inter-county stage. It serves as a platform for local clubs to come together, fostering a sense of belonging and pride among players and supporters alike – and has produced winners over the years who have advanced to gain county honours.

Agricultural College Scholarships

We’re invested in the next generation. Each year we offer scholarships to the children and grandchildren of Shareholders who attend Agricultural College, helping to make some contribution towards their education.
