Our History
Centenary Thurles was founded in 1898.
We are a farmer owned Co-operative Society and a member of I.C.O.S. Throughout our proud history Centenary Thurles has developed and changed with the various trends in agriculture and rural Ireland.
In an industry where rationalisation has been the order of the day, the foresight of the various Boards of Directors and Management in being pro-active about development and service has ensured that the Society reached the milestone of being 125 years old in 2023.
Today, all of our business units have been brought to ultra modern standards ensuring that Centenary Thurles is well positioned to serve the community for many years to come.
