Pat Coonan retired from our Montore Branch on Tuesday 10th June last. Pat initially joined us in 1990 when we established the joint venture Roscrea Farm Store. This was a completely new venture on a greenfield site and Pat made a substantial contribution to its development. In 2002, Centenary acquired 100% of Roscrea Farm Store and the following year (2003), Pat was appointed as Branch Manager in Montore. Pat therefore served our Society with distinction for almost 35 years, often working alone but always providing a service to our customers, which was above the call of duty. Pat is wished well on his retirement.
