On Monday, March 10th, some of the Transition Year students from CBS Thurles visited the milk processing plant at Centenary Thurles Co-op as part of their Agricultural Science module. During the visit, they gained valuable insight into the milk processing system at Thurles Fresh Milk, learning about each stage -from the arrival of the milk at the plant to the final product on the shelf.
A big thank you to Niall O’Shaughnessy, a past pupil of CBS Thurles, for providing the tour, and to Willie Power and Mr. Stokes for organising the visit. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
