Three of our Milk Suppliers were recently honored for low Somatic Cell Counts, their herds being in the lowest 500 for SCC in Ireland. Recipients of awards at the Killashee Hotel in Naas on Thursday 27th November were: John and David Fitzpatrick, Dareens, Clonmore; Billy Kennedy, Loran Park, Roscrea; and Dan Walsh, Ballinknock, Couraguneen.

Congratulations to all three Suppliers who each had SCC levels under 70 in 2024. The winner of the lowest SCC in Centenary Thurles and who received a Special Award were John and David Fitzpatrick.
